Event Producer Program
A collaborative program for artists, facilitators, and organizers to co-create events that uplift LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and allied communities.
The Event Producer Program is a collaborative initiative that supports innovative ticketed events at Queermunity. Whether you’re an artist, organizer, facilitator, or creative dreamer, we provide space, staff support, and promotional partnerships to help bring your ideas to life. Together, we make inclusive programming possible—by the community, for the community. The submission process is password-protected. Please learn more below and contact us to begin! This program is for collaborative events, not room rentals or private space buyouts. For simple space reservations, please visit our Rentals Page.

🥇Step 1: Contact Us First!
Ready to co-create? Every collaborative event starts with a conversation. Tell us who you are, your event concept, and your preferred date(s). Once we’ve confirmed a fit, we’ll send you the password to our Event Submission Form.
How It Works
Mubina Qureshi, co-executive director of SEWA-AIFW, with MN State Representative Leigh Finke.
Contact us to get started & discuss your event concept before submitting.
Proposed events must be ticketed. We can consider events scheduled within one month of the proposed date, though we prefer as much lead time as possible. Please contact us via email before applying. If we mutually agree your event is a good fit, you’ll receive the password to access our event application form.
Tap into our space, equipment, and staff support to make it happen.
Our team provides graphic design, website listing, social media promotion, newsletter inclusion, printed flyers, day-of support, and expert guidance to help streamline your event’s success and reach the right audience.
Collaborate with Queermunity to refine your concept.
Work with Queermunity’s team to review your event concept—budget, logistics, timing, and audience—and get guidance on refining the details. We can help you think through the structure, clarify your plan, and organize the key elements so your idea is audience-ready.
Promote your event with our communications team and channels.
Great events thrive on promotion. While we’ll support your event through our digital channels, we ask that you match that energy—spreading the word through social media, in-person outreach, and other platforms—to reach your people and maximize attendance.
